Hi Tom, no problem! I use the wake up feature all the time now - the only real tricky part is getting the router set up. I've recently updated this one for the o2 thomson router to include the saveall bit - shows how often I reset my router as it took months for the setting to disappear! Having this web page helped me to restore the setting once it was lost by a reset too.

Cheers

Hi Nathan. Thank you so much for making this webpage! I looked for hours on the internet trying to get WOL to work and your page is the only one that helped me to do it. In many forums I looked at they said it couldn't be done!

Thanks again,

Tom.

Hi Stu, glad it helped you out!

Yeah its a bit daunting to go playing about in the router by command line but thank fully there were quite a few others on the web who'd done it already; so I just amalgamated it all into what I did for my own solution.

Cheers

Hi Nathan, great instructions - works a treat, nice and clear. I'd not gone 'into' the router via the superuser user before and these are easy to follow steps.

Cheers..Stu
